Brief info
He was born in 1968 in Eskişehir.
He graduated from the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Department of Communication Arts, at Anadolu University.
He began his professional career in 1992 as a media planner at Ajans Ekol. In the following years, he held various positions at Alice BBDO, A4 Advertising, Medyatürk, and Universal McCann.
He then worked as a “Director” at ADD Medya, a media buying firm within Çukurova Holding, from 2006 to 2010.
In 2010, he left ADD and became a co-founder of PERISCOPE with his brother Emrah Selamet; he later acquired all the shares of the company.
He is married and the father of one child. Gökhan Selamet, who speaks English, is a member of Galatasaray Sports Club, the IAA (International Advertising Association) and the IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau).
He is also the author of a novel titled “The Seven-Circled Labyrinth,” which was published in 2026.
